Database Improvements

To improve the reliability and performance of the AIMpromote database we have migrated from the non-transactional MyISAM storage engine to the more reliable InnoDB database storage engine. There have been some brief periods of unavailability during the migration process, and we expect that there will be a few more minutes of unexpected downtime over the next week or two.

There are significant advantages to using the InnoDB storage engine, which is why we have partnered with InnoBase to bring this to production. AIMpromote clients should already be experiencing a significant improvement in speed (up to 50% decrease in page load). Also, from a reliability standpoint, we are able to offer a platform that has unparalleled data consistency.
